Welcome to the Blog`

Hello Everyone! Welcome to my blog. As some of you may know, this is my second go-around with creating a blog. So, for those of you who have returned, welcome back! For those of you who are new, thank you for checking it out! I wanted to use my first blog post as an introduction to me, what I like to do, and what you can expect from this blog. So with that said, let's dive in!

As you already know, my name is Raquel. I am 24 years old and originally from New Jersey, now living in Florida. You may think, "Hmmm, Jersey? You know Snooki?" The answer is, no... but I am from the Jersey Shore. I grew up right where all the infamous sloppy summer dramas occurred from the show. To avoid boring you, I will skip the details of my schooling and what not. Just know, I went to college, got my Bachelor's degree and am now going to school to get my Master's degree!

During college, I participated in a Disney College Program where I worked merchandise in Tomorrowland. It was one of the scariest things I had ever done, but one of the most rewarding. My college program will go down as one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. My college program taught me a lot about myself and is where I met my boyfriend, Lee! I will eventually make a blog post dedicated to just my college program experience. I will also make a post dedicated to my two Disney Professional Internships I participated in.

So more about Lee! Lee is my boyfriend of almost 4 years. I met him while working on my CP. He worked in Tomorrowland merchandise as well but he was a full time cast member instead of a CP like me. Lee and I decided to move in together a little over a year ago and it was the best decision for us!

We also have an ADORABLE dog named Draco (yes, like Draco Malfoy). He is a mix between a Shiba Inu and a Siberian Husky. Draco is a little over a year old at this point and he is the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever had.

Growing up, I had a Beagle, a Saint Bernard and Chocolate Lab. Draco, by far, takes the cake. I have never met an animal with SUCH a personality before. He truly never ceases to amaze me! I may make some blogs about dog training and other tips.. let me know what you guys think!

To avoid me from rambling on and on about myself anymore, here is a list of "fun facts" about me:

- I work at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament as a Marketing Associate (yes, like from the Cable Guy)

- I am Disney OBSESSED (if you couldn't already tell...)

- I am a Slytherin (haters gonn' hate)

- My favorite animal is a cow

- My favorite band growing up was My Chemical Romance

- My guilty pleasure is the Bachelor

- I like to sing

I hope to use this website to discuss personal topics, but also fun and interesting topics surrounding Disney and the Orlando Tourist market! Some ideas I have for my blog posts are:
